Tokyo Haneda (HND – JAL/AirDo, daily year-round, approx. 1 hr 50 min), Tokyo Narita (NRT – Jetstar, direct budget option), Nagoya Chubu (NGO – ANA, July–October), and Osaka Itami (ITM – JAL, from August 2026). Seoul Incheon (ICN) and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) routes have operated as winter-season services in recent years — most overseas visitors connect via Tokyo Haneda (HND) or New Chitose (CTS, Sapporo).

COGICOGI electric-assist share bikes (self-serve, app-based): ¥3,000 for 24 hours. Nearest pickup point is Asahikawa Airport (AKJ, 7:30–20:30) — see the port map. Alternatively, the Asahikawa Airport Activity Center (1st-floor arrival lobby) rents electric mountain bikes for ¥4,000/day plus a ¥3,000 refundable deposit, 9:00–16:30.
